Other Offerings

Suction from cupping draws fluid into the treated area. This suction force expands and breaks open tiny blood vessels (capillaries) under the skin.

Your body treats the cupping area like an injury. It sends more blood to the area to stimulate the natural healing process. Some people theorize that cupping clears the pores and releases toxins.

Gua Sha

In gua sha, an Acupuncturist scrapes your skin with short or long strokes to stimulate microcirculation of the soft tissue, which increases blood flow.

Gua sha addresses stagnant energy (Qi) that may be responsible for inflammation and chronic pain.

Involves burning moxa, a cone or stick made of ground mugwort leaves, on or near your body’s meridians & acupuncture points.

The resulting heat stimulates the points and improves the flow of energy (Qi) in your body. This increased qi circulation can help with a range of health issues, from chronic pain to digestive issues.

Chinese Herbs

Unlike Western herbal tradition which focuses on “simples,” or herbs taken by themselves.

Chinese herbal medicine uses herbal combinations which are not designed to treat symptoms of a specific illness; rather and more holisticaly, tailored to the individual according to the complex principles of TCM.
