Our practitioners and team members are expected to comply with the professional obligations, ethical standards and requirements applicable to their profession and registration.
Respectful behaviour
We ask all clients, practitioners, visitors and team members to treat one another with courtesy and respect.
Akasha Integrative Health does not tolerate:
- Bullying, harassment or discrimination.
- Threatening, intimidating or abusive behaviour.
- Aggressive, abusive or offensive language.

Professional boundaries
Our practitioners maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients.
Personal relationships, inappropriate communications or conduct that may compromise the professional therapeutic relationship are not appropriate.
Communication and privacy
We ask that communication with our team remains respectful and appropriate, including communication by telephone, email, online booking systems and social media.
Please do not share another person’s private, personal or health information without their permission.
Feedback and concerns
We welcome respectful feedback and encourage clients to raise concerns directly with us so that we have an opportunity to listen, review the matter and respond appropriately.
Concerns may be raised with our reception team or clinic management.
Where a concern relates to the professional conduct of a registered health practitioner, clients may also have the right to contact the relevant professional board or the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Our shared responsibility
A positive healthcare environment is a shared responsibility.
By attending Akasha Integrative Health, clients agree to communicate respectfully, follow reasonable health and safety directions, provide relevant information needed for safe care, and respect the privacy and wellbeing of our practitioners, staff and other clients.
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe, respectful and welcoming environment for everyone.
