What personal data we collect and why

Patient intake forms and patient notes

As an integrated health clinic, the notes taken by our practitioners will be available to other practitioners only if you book in to see a different practitioner. This ensures the highest possible care by creating a continuation of your treatment process. Your privacy is important to us, and we do not share your information with anyone else without your consent.

Cookies

Login page. We will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Logged-in users. When you log in, we will set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Content editing. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after one day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content such as videos, images or articles. Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website. Patient notes and intake forms are stored in the cloud on secure servers provided by Zanda and Fresha. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

• Correct your data — request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Delete your data — request deletion of your personal data, subject to certain legal exceptions.

• Withdraw consent — withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time, where we rely on your consent as the legal basis for processing.
